The Greeting Farm...

Aloha all and Happy Thursday! Is it really the end of the week? wow, how time flies by so quickly.

Anyhow, here is the newest card that I just recently finished. With this card, I decided to go with the "red, white(beige), and blue" color theme. A very important day in Hawaii's history is soon to come (Dec. 7 Pearl Harbor) and I was feeling kind of patriotic. Nothing could be more appropriate than these colors.
The image used is from The Greeting Farm's set..."Rain, Snow, Shine", which was purchased from Little C's. In addition, the embellishments used, such as the DS ribbons, prima flowers, and buttons, are other items that may also be purchased from Little C's.

Be sure to pop on over to Little C's to start your early Christmas shopping. Jen's got some new arrivals, that are sure not to last. Cute, cute stamps from CC Designs. Gotta have those stamps!

Thank you for blessing us with your visit today. Have a very blessed day and Aloha~ Rina

NEW CC Designs @ Little C's

Good Morning!! It's me, Jen... sorry, I have been such a scattered brain lately, staying focus on 1 thing is totally not my priority right now. If you've emailed me, and heard no response, I'm getting to you... but please don't give up, I'll be caught up here soon. Boo Hoo.... well, I'm heading out the door, so I have to just post this and leave... here is one of the images that just arrived from CC Designs. They are super cute!!! A bunch of my inventory has already gone prior to me posting them on the site, because of the craft fair I had 2 weeks ago. What a blessing, Praise God!! Anyways, this image here is called "Santa Brigitta". Love her name, it's sooo precious!!!

I faux stitched, used buttons from my collection, scallop circle punch is an EK Success punch, used my Copic Spica (sp?) pens for the dots on the scallop circle punch, and I used Fun Flock on Brigitta's dress, socks and hat, paper if from TAC, and embossing background is from Cuttlebug and called "Swiss Dots".

Have a blessed day!!!

Hugs,
Jen

Popcorn Bear Winter Wishes

Hello Little C's Fans!! It's me, Maria again! Well, I created another card and I'll make one more for the day. I'll post it later this evening. I decided to use the "Popcorn Bear Winter Wishes" stamp set. The stamps are awesome because the images are so large that it really can make a statement. I decided to stamp it on vellum and color the image with both my Copic Markers and regular markers.

It's very easy to color on vellum. All you do is stamp the image like you normally would and color the back side. The colors will show through the vellum to the front. What is nice about it is that you really don't have to color very nicely so you can color the image rather quickly and not worry too much about blending or technique. Try it out.

I decided to work on the inside of the card because the sentiment was too large to put in the front. I didn't want to cover the cute bear image. Scroll down to check out the other card I made today. Stop by Little C's . . .you can find various "Popcorn Bear" stamp sets"!!! They are absolutely the cutest!!!!

JJ Kidz Jaz 1st Holding Balloons

Hello Little C's Fans!! Gosh, I almost forgot to post my card today! Yikes! I've been so busy cleaning that time just seems to slip away! Rather quickly I might add. I decided to use the JJ Kidz Jaz 1st Holding Balloons image again. I really am in love with these little kiddie images. . .they are so fun to color. I'm going to be posting more cards some time today so stop by later and check out the other cards I'll be posting. Today will be my Little C's marathon of card making day! LOL!

I decided to hand sew my stitches and I added the faux pearls . . .what do you think? Do you think it looks okay? I wanted to do something different. I colored the image with my Copic Markers. . .as always...:) Anyway. . .I'll work on Christmas cards for my next cards. Be sure to stop by Little C's and grab the JJ Kidz images. You will definitely fall in love with them!

Happy Thanksgiving...

First and most importantly...Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Hope you are having a very blessed day with your families and, thank you for stopping by to visit us here at SSH. I will try and keep this short, for the obvious reason (lol) but hope you will enjoy the project I have for you today.

I needed a holder that could carry large skittle boxes. I wanted something cute, fast, but yet simple to make and I came up with this...a "Box Purse". I've seen similar ones out there in blog land but, not quite the measurements I needed. As for the DS paper used in the background, I love it. I was so blessed to have found it among my "scraps" and thought it was just perfect. I decided to use Tina Wenke’s “Mouse on Orange Daisy”. I am not too fond of mice but…I must admit, their images are too cute. Little C’s has tons so…go, go,. go and check them out.

Again, thank you for stopping in and...Happy Gobble Gobble day =0) Aloha and God bless~ Rina
